A Study On Mao Zedong’s Theoretical Contribution To Sinicization Of Marxism During Yanan Period

Yanan period (1935.10-1948.3) is the mature period of the Communist Party of China. It is also an important period of sinicization of Marxism.The Communist Party of China combined the general principles of Marxism with the concrete practice of the Chinese revolution, which greatly promoted sinicization of Marxism and formed Mao Zedong Thought, the first major theoretical achievements in sinicization of Marxism. As one of the founders and pioneers of sinicization of Marxism, Mao Zedong first put forward the scientific proposition of sinicization of Marxism to the whole Party. With him in the lead, the Communist Party of China successfully opened up a way for sinicization of Marxism. He made the most important contribution to the development and mature of Mao Zedong Thought.Although academia has researched on the above areas in many aspects at differernt angles and has achieved fruitful results, Yanan period is such a rich ore that more detailed study is needed in order to obtain more resources. At present, our country is vigorously making Marxism sinicized, modernized and popularized. To choose Mao Zedong’s promotion of sinicization of Marxism during Yanan Period as a topic undoubtedly has a strong practical and feasibility.This paper takes the development of sinicization of Marxism as the main line and the research object is the process of promoting sinicization of Marxism by the Communist Party of China during Yanan period. Under the guidance of dialectical materialism and historical materialism and adhering to the principles of’theory coming from history’and’historical treatise union’, the paper focuses on how Mao Zedong’s individual conditions and social historical conditions influenced on his promotion of sinicization of Marxism. The paper lays stress on Mao Zedong’s path choice in his promotion of Sinicization of Marxism, from the development of the ideological emancipation movement within the scope of the whole party, the Yanan Rectification Movement, to the establishment of the Chinese Communist Party’s ideological line of seeking truth from facts. The paper focuses on Mao Zedong’s major theoretical contribution, involving new democracy theory, the Chinese revolution road, military theory and so on. The paper puts stress on the enlightenment brought by Mao Zedong’s practice in his promotion of sinicization of Marxism, consisting of three aspects:seeking truth from facts, independence and the mass line.The paper tries to make the greatest efforts in the above areas and strives to be innovative, so as to be of great benefit to the research of sinicization of Marxism.
