Marxism as the guiding ideology of the Communist Party of China, how the public understanding and recognition, is a long problem worthy of study. Social education as an important supplement of school education, as the most extensive means of education, is an effective way to the popularization of Marxism. The content and form of social education in Yanan period is so rich and varied, that people have a hitherto unknown political baptism, to promote the realization of the popularization of Marxism. Although the history has gradually gone, but it’s for the contemporary Marxism popularization still has an important significance.This article inspect this period, due to its important position in the history of the Communist Party of China, but also because it is important to explore the history of social education.This article is divided into four parts:the first chapter is the introduction, the concrete content as follows:the research significance, research status and the author’s understanding of a few core concepts; The second chapter is the necessity and feasibility of the popularization of Marxism; The third chapter is the key chapter of this article, that is, from the education policy, curriculum setting, teaching content, teaching material use, language system, organization form to discuss the deep relation of social education and the popularization of Marxism; The fourth chapter is about the summary of the results, and try to find some beneficial to the ways and methods of contemporary Marxism popularization.
