Discussion On China City Managers’Image Problems

The public image of city inspector is not only related to their effectiveness of law enforcement and also related to the iamge of the government, which is involved in the effect of the law. The public image has a straight effect on city’s harmony and stability, and it plays a important role in promoting urbanization and social modernization. In recent years, conflicts often happens between the city inspector and vendors in some cities of our country. In spite of the complicated reasons in conflicts, to a certain extent, damage has done to the public iamge and a negative impact has caused on the promotin of the positive city image.Firstly, this paper in based on the public image of city inspector and makes a assessment to the currently poor iamge of them, using a method of literature review and case interviews. On the basis of that, the paper makes the further analysis of the negative effects caused by poor image, then points outt that their poor public image is restricted by a number of factors, which including both their own low quality and disadvantages of rule and law. Finally, learned from the successful experience from the foreign countries, this paper put forward some countermeasures to promote the public iamge of city inspector, hoping it will improve the current situation of law enforcement and making a contribution to buliding the positive ubran image and harmonious city.
