Research On Legal System To Prevent Group Corruption Of Qing Dynasty

Qing Dynasty surviving three hundred years, the reign of the successive rulers, especially before Qian Long, to safeguard social stability of feudal rule, had a special attention to improve government management, and placed controlling corruption in an important position, and established a number of official governance measures including the legal system to prevent group corruption. The rulers’ attitude firmly and the legal system to prevent group corruption can be effectively functioning, and anti-corruption efforts will achieve great success. Nowadays China’s anti-corruption process comes to a critical period, as we confirm the past period achievements of anti-corruption, and we still have many difficulties to be faced with in next period. The current problem of corruption in our country shows a significant group characteristic, causing our country’s anti-corruption efforts in trouble, and even the corruption is becoming more and more serious. Qing Dynasty’s legal system of controlling social relationships as the basic ideas to prevent the group corruption, such as the job even sit system, recommended even sit system, avoidance system, etc., can suppress the corruption circle and collapse the pre-existing corruption circle, and it could achieve good results in solving corruption presenting the group characteristic. Taking the basic situation of corruption about our country into account, this paper attempts to learn and absorb the beneficial ingredients of the legal system to prevent group corruption of Qing Dynasty, and makes several thoughts to anti-corruption of controlling social relations as the basic ideas. Considering China’s special conditions, we can use the method of controlling social relations to suppress and collapse corruption circle, and create a good atmosphere for everyone fighting corruption, servicing anti-corruption nowadays, as soon as possible to achieve the goal of honest government.
