Research On Problems And Constructions Of Jinan Institutional Pensions

Jinan is a city that enters an aging society earlier, because it has been into an agingsociety since1987. The one-child policy increases the aging population. The increasingaging population has posed a serious challenge to Jinan. China has promoted thesocialization of social welfare in the1980s, so Jinan’s social endowment develops well.Jinan’s endowment pattern includes community nursing service, home-based care serviceand institutional pension. As an important part of Jinan’s social welfare, institutionalpension develops well. A number of private capitals enter the institutional pension. Manyof pension agencies have been built and more and more elderly people enjoy theinstitutional service. When institutional pension is rapidly developing, its problems arealso emerging.This paper is studying Jinan’s institutional pension based on the socialization ofsocial welfare. This paper analyzes the current situation of Jinan’s institutional pensionthrough literature and statistic method. Through the survey, this paper finds that Jinan’sinstitutional pension exist some problems that are single method, different competitivesituation between public pension agency and private agency, low level of service,non-professional personnel and limitation to the service object. Therefore this papergives some pieces of advice to promote Jinan’s institutional pension to develop well.
