Since be that, in Marx’ of early works do regard civil society as unique of capitalistsociety, according to business and commercial economy is the unique of capitalist society.Hegel, meanwhile, has the same point as well as considers for the first time economicsociety separating from political nations in a capitalist society. Earlier Locke hashighlighted the bourgeois human rights and the idea of freedom and equality. As the sametime he has that kind of point—civil society is prior to country and country merely in theservice of the society. It is theoretically affirmed the civil society is a separation systemwith the nation.We trace the original cause of civil society, which is one of the theories in politicalmeaning, including Aristotle’s polis theory of ancient Greek and Roman Cicero’s urbanlife community theory of civil society. At that time, the civil society and the country isstill as a whole organic, in which have no obvious monetary and the commodity economyof the emergence. Modern Locke’s and Montesquieu’s theory of civil society, just hasytheoretically realize that the civil society and state should be separation, but not linked tocapitalist economy development. Hegel, Marx, combined with the capitalist economysociety premise the modern civil society’s theory. Two of them difference is that theformer standing on the position of spiritual self development of human’s, while the latteris position of historical materialism, and to reach right recognition and argument of themodern civil society, deeply analyze the essence of civil society and considering of thedevelopment of the society itself is a sublation process, and finally puts forward to realizethe human and human’s essence reset completely,that is the best communism target, thiscivil society theory is the one in the sense of the economy. The theory of civil society iscontinuous development after Locke, Hegel and Marx. The contemporary civil societytheory: some of western contemporary Marxist and post-Marxist from the perspective ofcultural, attribute the civil society to ideology and superstructure, was summarized ascultural sense of the civil society theory.
