The Questions And Countermeasures Of Ideological And Political Education Of New Generation Migrant Workers

Migrant workers are special social group which develop continuously sincethe reform and opening-up policy, they gradually become an important part ofindustrial workers in China. Changing with the times, increasing of migrant workers’age, in the early era of reform and opening-up, migrant workers in cities graduallystep down from the stage of history, they are called relay baton of new generationmigrant workers, they gradually become the core strength of social development andurban construction. The National Bureau of Statistics released The Migrant WorkersDetection Survey Report in2012shows that at present the new generation migrantworkers who were born after1980accounted for about61%among all migrantworkers. Compared with the older generation migrant workers, new generationmigrant workers gradually lose their skills in agricultural production, three-quartersof the migrant workers had never engaged in agricultural production. At the sametime, new generation migrant workers’ ideology is different from the oldergeneration migrant workers, the author analyzes differences of ideology betweennew and old generation migrant workers and emphatically analyzes problems andreasons existing in the process of the new generation migrant workers’ politicaleducation, and puts forward to the way of strengthening new generation migrantworkers’ ideological and political education.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part: introduction. First of all, to clarify background topics andresearch meaning of the thesis. Second, to analyze domestic scholars’ various felidsresearch status about the new generation migrant workers’ basic concept. Next, toenumerate research methods in this thesis. Finally, to expound innovation anddeficiency of the thesis.The second part: the summary of new generation migrant workers’ ideologicaland political education and characteristic. To expound three meanings of "migrantworkers","new generation migrant workers","new generation migrant workers’ideological and political education" and to discuss group characteristics of newgeneration migrant workers, it mainly has several aspects: advancement of ideology, status of marginality, fast speed of city, diversity of career options.The third part: the analysis of problems and cause among new generationmigrant workers’ ideological and political education. At present new generationmigrant workers’ ideological and political education has not caused enough attentionto the relevant departments, there are some problems, which mainly displays in themain body, content and approach of ideological and political education. On the basisof analyzing reasons of ideological and political education weakening to the newgeneration migrant workers, which both governments at all levels and managementdepartments have the responsibility, and new generation migrant workers have theirown factors. Both obstacles of social system and the restriction of social culturalenvironment.The fourth part: approach of new generation migrant workers ideological andpolitical education. This part is the main part of the thesis. Based on analyzingproblems and reasons of the new generation migrant workers’ ideological andpolitical education, the author puts forward to approaches of strengthening ideologicaland political education of new generation migrant workers. First, to know and play arole in the main body of ideological and political education. Second, to enrich thecontents of the ideological and political education. Next, to innovate methods ofideological and political education. Finally, to optimize the environment ofideological and political education.
