A Study On The Trust Of Government In Rumors Governance

China, at present, is in the critical period of economic transition and system transition, and in the special period of outburst of various contradictions. This is an age of easy to breed and spread rumors, and it is also easy to fall into a "tale-rumors-tale" Time cycle. We should not only notice the risks and hazards brings by rumors, but also need to observe the government’s crisis of confidence caused by rumors.This paper is based on the connotation of government trust. Firstly, it has expounded three aspects of government trust, such as contents, features and significance; and analyzed the relationship of mutual trust between subject and object of government and its environment,and it is also describes the content, features and the importance of trust in government,secondly, the paper elaborate the relationship between the rumor governance and the government trust, found that higher trust in government can achieve a better communication between government and the public; but also realized government’s trust and support given by the public; provided favorable solutions to environmental, material needs and spiritual power for the effective governance of rumors. In contrast, the government which lost trust is difficult to get the public’s agreement on governance policies of the rumors governance, and it will greatly increase the difficulty of governance and policy costs. And the paper points out the mainly performance of weaken government trust, containing damage the government authority in the public, weaken the public’s confidence of government, impede the implementation of government policy, and intensify the antagonism between the public and government. It has great significance that enhancing the public’s trust to government and maintaining the social stability by strengthen the rumor governance. Thirdly, this article puts forward the questions of how the government governance the rumor to enhance public trust in the last chapter. There comes the answer: first, we should establish an warning system for the government trust through public opinion monitor, and unified the model of information publish to guide public opinion correctly; second, the government need to release the truth to maintain its image, perfect the information disclosure mechanism, strengthen the government’s influence; thirdly, the government should to maintain the authority through the strict accountability and punishment; finally, the article pointed out that the government should response the public’s requires to improve the public confidence and advocacy to government, which requires the government to regard responses to the public as the starting point, centres on the public, promots the interaction between the government and the public forwardly, then the government trust can be improved fundamentally.
