Intellectual Property Protection Of Traditional Arts And Crafts

As an ancient civilized country, China has a rich of cultural heritage, especially thedifferent kinds of the traditional handicrafts, they represent our national temperamentand wisdom, so they should be protected. But, the protection of traditional arts andcrafts are still weak currently, it results in some serious problem. And the problems haveaffected the development of traditional cultural crafts seriously.This article analysed the problems faced by Chinese traditional crafts, it wroteabout how the typical countries and International organization protect them, andcompared with our country, at last I offered some suggestions. This article supports theviewpoint about special law, after analysing the situation about the necessary ofprotection from the basic theory of traditional crafts, I took the successor of thetraditional craft as the point of penetration. At last, I give some advice about the how toprotect the traditional arts and crafts, including the protection period, the regulation ofthe recognize the successor, special rights and obligations.
