New curriculum reform and the chemistry curriculum standards stress to Cultivate students’ creative abilities and talents, in order to the development of each student and the principal role of students. Chemical reaction principle’s module is an important part of high school chemistry textbook system, which is compiled on the basis of above ideas. It covers the chemical principle of high school chemistry knowledge that students must master, and play an important role in guiding life and industrial production. This module is the must-be-tested module in the elective modules, which can show its importance. Because of highly theoretical, teachers could not find appropriate teaching strategies in teaching process, students could not understand. So the final construct of the knowledge meaning could not be achieved.Anchored Instruction strategy is a comparative mature mode of teaching under the guidance of the constructivist theory, which is a teaching paradigm based on the technology. According to the dialectical materialism practice concept:theoretical knowledge comes from practice and plays a role in guiding practice. Put the use of anchored teaching strategies in Chemical reaction principle’s module of PEP; propose the instructional design theoretical models for the module; choose the suited teaching case design and teaching practice for the theoretical model chapter; solve the problems in teaching; and to achieve the active construction process of the students’ theoretical knowledge.Anchored instruction is used in the knowledge teaching of chemical theories which can improve teachers’teaching and students’interest, develop students’ inquiry ability and innovative spirit, improve students’ scientific literacy, and truly realize the educational purposes of students’ harmonious development.This study is divided into six parts:The first part is the preface. It clarifies the background and significance of the question, summarizes the international constructivist and anchored instruction at home and abroad. The second part is anchored instruction strategy. It clarifies theoretical foundation, design aspects and advantages of anchored instruction in details.The third part is the study of Chemical reaction principle’s module. It analyzes the problems of material characteristics and the problems in teaching.The fourth part is the teaching experimental study. It proposes instructional design process of chemical principles and designs teaching cases, which is based on anchored instructional design.The fifth part is the investigation on the experimental results. From the performance of students’activities, questionnaires and score statistics, we can detect and analyze the teaching effectiveness.The sixth part is the study of conclusions and makes a prospect.
