Objective: In this study, we make the animal Achilles tendon enthesiopathy model, Observethe changes of the histopathology of Rats Achilles tendon entheses, detect the expression ofthe TFG-β and the IGF-Ⅰ after extracorporal shock wave interfered. To furtherexplore the impact of extracorporeal shock wave to interfere with the repair process of theAchilles tendon enthesiopathy in rats. Provide a theoretical basis for deep elements andmechanism of ESW.method:44healthy SD rats, Six weeks of age weighing about203±8.8g,We take the feet asexperimental subjects, a total of88samples. The electrostimulation was used to causeenthesiopathy in SD rats. Four rats were randomly selected for checked after the modelfinished。The remaining rats were randomly divided into two groups: ESWT group (GroupB=20) and control group(Group A=20). One week after the Shock wave therapy,10rats wereselected in A and B respectivel(ySubgroup A1=10Subgroup B1=10),Put to death and drawmaterials,4for histopathological observation and6for the detection of TFG-β and IGF-Ⅰin each subgroup. The remaining rats of each group draw materials after two weeks of theShock wave therapy, and the processing method as above.results: Model testing, part of the Achilles Tendon fibers hyalinization, Vascular invasion,Cartilage zone thickening, the tide mark Flame-like changes. After one week of the Shockwave therapy, there are more Capillaries, fibroblasts, and less Inflammatory cells in ESWTGroup. After two weeks of the Shock wave therapy, Capillary wall thickening, Increase in thenumber of fibroblasts and collagen fiber content, no inflammatory cells in ESWT Group. There are significant differences in TGF-βand IGF-Ⅰexpression in the first week(P<0.05),and very significant differences in the Second week(P<0.01).The expression of TGF-βvery significant difference(P<0.01),and the expression of IGF-Ⅰno significant difference inESTW group(P>0.05). The expression of TGF-βand IGF-Ⅰno significant difference thanthe first week in control group(P>0.05).Conclusions: ESWT can Promote microvascular of tendon enthuses, Increased fibroblastsand collagen fiber content, and promote the synthesis of extracellular matrix, regulate the expression of TGF-β and IGF-Ⅰ in rat early enthesiopathy, andpromote enthesiopathy repair process.
