| Strengthening college students’ law awareness education, we need tostart with the connotation and structure of the legal consciousness, torealize that the law awareness in formed of legal emotion, legal cognition,law concept and other parts, and thus to make clear shaping collegestudents’ rational legal awareness is the target connotation of Collegestudents’ law awareness education. In the background of ruling by Law,taking Deng Xiaoping’s thought in legal education as guide, strengtheningcollege students’ law awareness education is of great significance.Deng Xiaoping’s thought in legal education is an important part ofDeng Xiaoping theory, with Chinese characteristics, and proved bypractice of the advanced theories, it is also the guiding ideology andtheoretical foundation of college students’ law awareness education.
