Electronic media represented by film, television and the internet had a profound impact on thesecondary language education, such as the media effect on instructional ideas and objectives, teachingmethods and contents, the teachers and students.The media effect on instructional ideas of language education allows people to see that the essencereturn of language education---the importance of cultural education; the impact on training objectives forlanguage education lies mainly in the adjustment of knowledge structure and change of verbal learningfocus; the teaching methods of the electronic media is mostly used in multimedia computer assistedinstruction and distance education; Faced with the impact of the electronic media, language materialschoreography, reading teaching, resource development and utilization of language curriculum, and othereducation issues are put on the agenda again; the changes in status and responsibilities of language teachersand the influences on secondary school students’language learning, make more and more languageeducators deeply understand the power of "hidden curriculum" caused by the electronic media and itsmedia culture.Aiming at the role status that electronic media played on secondary language education, the paperdeveloped three adaptable interventions according to reflection on the day-to-day teaching experience, rightexplanation of teaching problem, and effort to connect theory and practice of the education, and tried tofind the best ways and means regarding the deep integration of electronic media and secondary languageeducation.
