Nowadays, mass media is becoming stronger and stronger. With the widely extension of the traditional media such as newspaper, radio and television and the rapid popularization of the new media such as multimedia computer and Internet, media play a more and more important role in the people's life, and mass culture is penetrating into all aspects of society. At the same time, mass culture brings a great challenge for students' conception of history and truth. Facing omnipresent media information, most students feel it hard to select from. At the same time, senses of value, language, and pattern of behavior of students have been directly influenced by mass culture. Under this social cultural background, the curricular development of the primary schools and middle schools of the developed countries has increasingly concerned over the media education. They gradually integrate media education into regular curriculum among whole country or parts of regions in their primary or high schools.In this integration process of each curriculum, it is unique advantages that language arts bring "viewing" and "representing" into existing courses. It began to develop students' media viewing and media representing ability.The Medial literacy education may integrate to each discipline in carries on, the present paper mainly launches the research on the Medial literacy education in language discipline seepage this thesis, then attempts to derive some useful experiences which may enlighten media literacy localization in Chinese curriculum. This paper includes three parts:the first part clears about the related implications and introduces the media education history and status in English curriculum in western developed countries, enables the people to have a simple understanding to the medial literacy education, realizes to the medial literacy education importance; the second part expounds the necessary about combination between Chinese curriculum and Medial literacy education; and the last part outlines the exploratory strategy about carrying out the media literacy in Chinese curriculum.
