Studies On Dongsa Of Jing Po Society In Nong Bing Village Of Xi Shan Township Mangs Hi

This paper takes Dongsa in Jingpo nationality as the researching object. Nongbing village, Xishan town, Dehong Dai and Jingpo municipality which has the largest population of Jingpo was choosen as the filed site to carry out the investigation and study. Dongsa is the expert in the activities of folk beliefs.and the symbol of Jingpo’s tradition culture, Dongsa who arranges the sacrifice, weddings, funerals, entertainment plays an important role in the society. Following the method of anthropology, ethnology classical ethnography, using some important research methods such as participant observation, in-depth interviews, case collection, seeing about the big ritual activities and the ceremony’s process in Jingpo’s daily life,it reveals the cultural connotation contained in the folk beliefs and the ceremony activities. Through researching the the evolution of the Jingpo operation mechanism in the social change,the paper tries to elaborates the protection and inheritance of Dongsa and traditional culture of Jingpo in the social change.and the dialogue between the local government and the expert of folk belief and its ceremony.At the same time,the paper mainly studies how the folk beliefs are participated in the activities of local government positively and adapted to the change in modern society.After investigation and analysis, the author thinks that as the symbol of Jingpo’s traditional culture, Dongsa has important social background and historical conditions in the emergence and development of Jingpo nationality. And through analyzing the process of Dongsa’s ceremonies in villages, we can also find out that Dongsa occupies important social status and function in Jingpo society and these ceremonies manifest and inherit Jingpo excellent traditional culture. Along with the development of modernization and mixture of multicultural, the development of Dongsa who is the symbol of Jingpo traditional culture, emerges of problems and difficulties. Meanwhile, Dongsa, as the ritual expert of folk beliefs, actively participates in organized activities by authority in the system, and realizes dialogue and cooperation with local government.It inherits and carries forward the social and cultural connotation of Jingpo nationality. Under the interaction and game of authority within system and out of system, a suitable balance can be found finally Traditional culture of Jingpo can also be Inherited and developed.
