The Study On Labor Outlook In The Field Of Talents Education Target In Colleges And Universities

In the colleges and universities, everything moves around the kernel ofeducating talents. Thus, the colleges and universities are not only the guide ofcivilization, the base of the scientific research discovery and technological invention,but the cradles which continuously supply different levels and sorts talents to thesocial development.The target of talents’education is mainly the structure of “four elements as one”which contains the elements of moral, intellectual, physical and aesthetic education.There lacks the key element of labor in the target structure in our country. Nowadays,although some scholars in the higher vocational school put forward the moral,intellectual, physical aesthetic and labor education target structure of thetalent’education，it is often confined to the category of the labor consciousness andidea in a narrow sense to explain the undergraduates’ sense and behavior ofdespising and ignoring labor education. It can not reveal the labor consciousness andidea in a broad sense, that is to define the moral, intellectual, physical and aestheticeducation as the inner prescriptive property while labor education as the outerprescriptive property which transforms the social requirement into the targets oftalents’education in the colleges and universities and meets the social demand inthe interaction between the institutions of higher learning system and the socialsystem. In a word, only the “five elements as one” target structure of talentseducation has rationality and scientific property.The labor in the new target structure refers to the labor viewpoint as well as thelabor concept. The former is relative to the indolence, while the latter refers to thetotal view and the fundamental standpoint on labor as times goes on. There aredifferent labor concepts in different eras: In the ancient era, it is a concept of laborkept in bondage whose characteristic is degrading and discriminating against labor.In modern times, it is a labor concept whose feature is that the industrial workerscreate material wealth. And in the contemporary age, it is a professional laboroutlook and its characteristic is to regard the labors in all trades and professions askey parts that guarantee the society run smoothly. The undergraduates should formthe contemporary professional labor outlook, recognize that virtue, wisdom, sportand aesthetic ability fundamentally root from labor and increasingly develop withthe improvement of labor level. And they all manifest the harmonious relationshipbetween persons, individual and society, human and nature as well as physically andmentally based on labor. Therefore, labor is in the former status and plays a decisiverole on the other four elements. The labor in the target structure of “five elements as one” request theundergraduates adopt the following contemporary labor consciousness: Firstly, laboris an existing way in the relationship between persons, human and nature.. It hasmaterial prescriptive property, social prescriptive property and ecologicalprescriptive property. Secondly, are professional and nonprofessional labor, laborwith reward and voluntary labor which shows different ways of social labor. Thirdly,there are moderate labor and excessive labor. The symbol of wholesome labor iscontaining the physical-mental eco-stability. Fourthly, to form wholesome laborvalue outlook, right outlook and benefit outlook is the base and reason forundergraduates to fulfill all-round development of “five elements as one”.
