Self-efficacy refers to the individual to himself can accomplish a task, action ability of selfconfidence or subject in some way the ability of feeling and perception and grasp, is a specificself-confidence. Life satisfaction is an indicator of mental health, refers to the individual’sperception of life experience, quality evaluation, belongs to the field of positive psychology.Self-efficacy and life satisfaction both indicators are as a positive indicator of psychological healthis widely applied. Based on the discussion through the university students’ self-efficacy, the statusquo of life satisfaction and the sports professional and non-professional sports comparisonresearch, the purpose is to verify the performance between the two groups, to reveal the influenceof physical exercise on mental health, and hope that the results can guide the student to participatein sports activities, improve students’ overall health level and provide targeted for the relatedresearch work in the future, more scientific and more reasonable.Based on reading lots of literature, this study used questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics and logic analysis to ganzhou city,1000students in colleges anduniversities as the research object, the sports majors and non-sports specialized university studentself-efficacy and life satisfaction were investigated.The results showed that:1. Physical education majors self-efficacy is an average of28.08, students half above average,in the middle level of overall; non-sports majors self-efficacy mean value is24.88, lower than theaverage number of people, as a whole, the level of. College students sports professionalself-efficacy had no significant difference (P>0.05); the third grade students universityself-evaluation is highest, followed by the fourth grade, the first grade students is the lowest.Non-professional sports university students self-efficacy has significant difference (P<0.01), boysare better than girls, science students than liberal arts students and University; the third gradescored the highest, followed by the second grade, the first grade students is the lowest. Overall, thesports majors self-efficacy assessment than non-sports majors, and the difference was significant(P<0.01). From the analysis of exercise psychology, self-efficacy is one of the most variableclosely linked with exercise behavior, that is to say the individual exercise self-efficacy sense is stronger, the more he can insist on physical exercise, positive effects obtained by physical exerciseis more obvious.2. Professional sports college students life satisfaction averaged28.8172, non-professionalsports is27.4151, the difference was not significant (P>0.05); students’ general self-efficacy meanvalue is27.9756, that is students’ life satisfaction for basic satisfaction. Gender differences in lifesatisfaction of students majoring in physical education is not significant, but the boys was higherthan girls, junior scored the highest. Non-sports majors differ significantly (P <0.01), girls betterthan boys, sophomore got the highest score, between the liberal arts and science are notstatistically significant (P>0.05); in general, life satisfaction of college students majoring inphysical education than and non-sports majors, with significant difference (P<0.05). This could atleast show, students exercise self cognition and practice ability is high, to the various dimensionsof life satisfaction, self evaluation is also higher; regular exercise, can obtain more fitness andheart health effect, and improves the degree of life satisfaction.In short, regular physical exercise to maintain the exercise self-efficacy promotion; lifesatisfaction is helpful to enhance physical exercise motivation, encourage students to participate inphysical exercise, and enhance the physical and mental health, improve life satisfaction.
