Mathematics is aesthetic, which has a certain particularity. In theprocess of studying mathematics, Ancient Greek mathematician andphilosopher have realized that mathematics aesthetics is a kind of rationalaesthetics reflected in the process of explaining nature and the laws of theuniverse. Modern Western study for mathematics aesthetics is mainly from amethodological point of view to discuss the important role of aestheticsthought in mathematical discoveries and inventions.Chinese mathematics research has been initiated and advocated byProfessor Xu Lizhi.So far many scholars have carried out a variety ofresearches on mathematics beauty and mathematic aesthetic thought and haveachieved fruitful results. From a philosophical point of view mathematicsaesthetics is studied and initially established mathematic aesthetic disciplines,especially the research on the combination of the mathematic aestheticthought and mathematics teaching in class.It is the new light spot ofmathematic aesthetics research.New mathematics curriculum standards emphasize that students areasked to grasp the aesthetic value of mathematics and aesthetics thought, so itis necessary to penetrate the knowledge of mathematic aesthetics timely in theprocess of mathematics teaching. Some general characteristics of mathematicsaesthetics are reflected through aesthetic activities for a certain aestheticobjects. Students are supposed to cultivate the views and methods of dialecticalmaterialism through the mathematic aesthetic thought, method and integralaesthetics for mathematics system and content. It reflects the scientific value,application value and theoretical value of the mathematic aesthetic thoughtand method.This paper mainly uses the literature method and case study method tostudy the relationship between the mathematic aesthetic thought and methodand positive transfer of students’ mathematics learning.The first chapter is an introduction part. It introduces the purpose andsignificance of research, the relevant review and research method both athome and abroad and innovations.The second chapter is the theoretical part of this thesis. First it definesthe mathematics aesthetics, its general characteristics and the mathematicaesthetic thought, and then briefly discusses the mathematic aesthetics inwestern countries and the origins and the development of the mathematicaesthetic thought in China.The third chapter mainly analyses the mathematic aesthetic thoughtreflected on new math textbooks in senior high school. In the followingthree parts, namely, algebra, geometry and calculus, the mathematic aestheticthought is discussed respectively.Based on earlier research the fourth chapter studies how the mathematicaesthetic thought is applied in high school mathematics teaching and proposes strategies for the application of the mathematic aesthetic thought。...
