The senior high school mathematics curriculum standard pointed out:"Master the necessary mathematics basic knowledge and basic skills, Understanding basic mathematical concepts, mathematical conclusions about the nature, comprehend the concept, the background and application. Experience contains the mathematics thinking method, and their subsequent learning in rats" is one of the final aims in senior secondary course. The reform of mathematics education requires students to master the basic knowledge of Mathematics and acquire the basic skills and basic way of thinking. In teaching teachers should emphasize the importance of mathematical thought and method, the mathematical thought and methods in learning as knowledge of mathematics as a teaching task. Mathematics is the study of the space form and the quantity relation of Science, as the "number" and "shape" in close connection with the method of thinking-Importance should be attached to number-form combination method of thinking. The number-shape union is the focus of teaching, it is a mathematical problem solving in an important thinking method, teachers in teaching should be seriously to cultivate students’way of thinking number-shape union.This paper consists of five parts. The first part introduced the backgrounds domestic and foreign research status of mathematical thought and method. The second part of the mathematical way of thinking and methodology of number-shape combination are expounded respectively. The first is defines the concept of mathematical thought and method, and analysis of the difference and connection between the mathematics thought and methods, expatiated mathematics thinking method in the development of mathematics and mathematics education. The second is the introduced particularly about number-form combination method of thinking, Including the meaning of the number-shape combination method of thinking、 application forms basic principle and the role in Teaching. The third chapter discusses that how infiltration to methodology of number-shape combination in senior high school classroom, and given a specific teaching cases.The fourth part is using the number-form combination method of thinking of examples and exercises are examples of the application in the teaching of various chapters.
