"case method for reviewing" refers to a reviewing system in which teachers make upsome exploring problems based on some typical cases and hot spots of society and askstudents to analyse the problems. The purpose of it is to help the students understand,consolidate and digest their knowledge then the students can combine what they havelearned with their practice. The advantage of "case method for reviewing" lies in thepassion to take part in the class is motivated sufficiently and students can take part in theclass a great deal.Based on the foundation of case teaching,"case method for reviewing" is produced anddevelops, but the case teaching has own germination and the development, according to thecertain teaching goals, the case teaching usually choose the inspirational typical cases andteachers always provide certain scenes and organize the students to discuss them in theclass, which can help the student be aware of, understand and grasp the theory knowledge.This teaching method can improve the student’s correlative ability and comprehensivequality.This article elaborated the research status about case teaching at home and abroad. Theteacher should combine the teaching interaction theory, constructivism theory and insightlearning theory with review feature of the biology in high school, discuss the steps of "casemethod for reviewing" and the present problems encountered in research it. This studyselected high school students in Grade three as the research object, teachers try the "casemethod for reviewing" in the experiment. Teachers applied different teaching methods todifferent classes. Then experimental contrast was made, comparing results of the testsbefore and after the experiment, learning interest and learning capability were alsoanalysed according to the data. At last some advantages and problems were concludedabout using of "case method for reviewing" in the review.The conclusions are as follows:1,It is feasible to introduce "case method forreviewing" in the biological review process.2, case review law knowledge which ismastered by the students through "case method for reviewing" is internalized knowledge.At the same time, this review method improved the students’ learning interest and make thereview no longer boring.
