A new-round reformation in education has promoted educators to explore some new teaching mode one by one. The mutual promoting mode between the teacher and students for middle school geography class, which was established by Pro. Xu Baofang from the teacher’s Normal University of Inner Mongolia has achieved a fruitful result in the teaching practice. However it has been found out by the study for the related references of this paper that how this mode will be properly applied for the new teaching and reviewing within both middle school classes and high school classes, and what result will be are still need to be further researched. This paper will try to raise both the teaching and reviewing effects through the designing and implement of geography class for the third grade in middle school to lift their teaching effects, so that to summarize some useful experience as well as to further identify the so called "mutual promoting mode" and to accomplish its theory of the mode.This study belongs to a practical researching. All the means of study includes:documentary study, survey answering, experimental researching. By analysis of the distinctions between reviewing classes and new teaching classes to affirm the reviewing classes’characteristics of the third grade class and under the guidance of the "mode" to combine the reality of each classes to design the "two notes"-teaching notes for instructors and learning notes for the students, implementing in the experimental class of the No.8Middle School of Huhhot, eventually concluded as follow:Ⅰ. The reviewing geography class differed from any new teaching one featuring following five points:seriousness; systematicness, applicableness; pertinency, subjectiveness.Ⅱ. The designing of the "Two notes" for reviewing class will follow the five principles of systematicness, pertinency, progressiveness, developments, and subjectiveness. Based on the "two notes" structure the entire teaching process will be differed from the traditional process during the assignments’choosing and editing, hardness and toughness strengthening processes. The learning notes will be including six parts: name of topic and class hour; learning target; knowledge combing; hardness and toughness breaking through; assessing of targets; and summary. The learning notes for the first period of the systematic reviewing for the fundamental knowledge will be differed from the second period of topic study. The reviewing teaching notes designing will be according with following six principles:methodological; harmoniousness, disciplinarily; perfection; selectivity and supplements. The teaching notes will be including the following seven parts:name of topic and class hour; learning target; hardness and toughness; teaching process; board writing designing; teaching reviewing; error checking.III. The implementation of the two notes will be differed from the new teaching on such aspects as means, keys of implementation and the students’subjectiveness. The reviewing class on the "Two Notes" follows three principles of flexibility; cooperative studying; pertinence. The teaching notes implementation keys are previous summarizing; exchange combing; cooperating breaking through; time limited training; punctuated feedback. The implementation of teaching notes coincides with learning notes and supplement to the learning notes teaching. The implementation keys are below five steps:reviewing inducing; testing feedback; leading points teaching; punctuated commenting; summarizing checking.VI. The experimental research has shown that the " two notes promoting mode" in the middle school geography class teaching is beneficial for raising the reviewing effects, students competence of study, as well as instructors competence and students subjectiveness. Anyhow to guarantee the implementation of the "two notes mutual promoting mode" smoothly following weakness need to be stressed:strengthening the keys of students’activeness and independency and learning and inducing as well as the feedback checking and class flexibility ordering.
