Interpretation Of The Kite’s Theme And Teaching Suggestions In Secondary School Language Teaching

For his existence, Lu Xun is a great personage not only in Chinese literature or Chinese contemporary history, but also in secondary school Chinese education. His works has gradually attracted the attention from all circles and become a hot issue in research fields of Chinese course with the curriculum reform carries on in China.In China, secondary school students like Lu Xun’s novels best then his essays, so teachers do more trying in these two kinds of styles when teaching. Different to these two styles, his proses and prose poems are always brushed aside unfairly; The Kite is one of Lu Xun’s prose poems which attach less importance to the students.This paper, takes junior Chinese teaching material published by People’s Education Publication House as the example, tries to interpreting The Kite from the view of secondary school language teaching and takes The Kite’s theme as research object. Based on the theme research, this paper presents a profound reflection, to find out the problems in teaching and difficulties, but also hopes to integrate the work break to find ways of interpretation.There are three chapters in this content. The first chapter reviews to the teaching history of Lu Xun’s The Kite in secondary school, including the characteristics of teaching material used in different history stage since this work finished, and tracing back to teaching tics for more than half-century in secondary school. And also researches28kinds of teaching and studying reference books about The Kite’s theme that lays the stone for the next chapter.The second chapter compares The Kite and My Brother, interpreting the theme of The Kite. Based on the reference books research, this paper tries to find out the problems in teaching and difficulties. On this basis, in the third chapter, the arrangement of The Kite also made specific recommendations on the use of secondary school language teaching materials.In the last part of this paper, there is a appendix which is my own teaching design of The Kite, it is helpful for interpret the theme in secondary school language teaching.
