In order to grasp the overall situation of juvenile football players’training and provide beneficial reference for "double track training system" in Shandong province, the original nation-sponsored training system and modern professional juvenile players training system were analyzed based on reviewed literature, experts’interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics. Through summing up the experience in football-advanced countries, considering the current situation of juvenile training in Shandong province, the following conclusions were drawn:In post-professionalized era, training system of juvenile players in Shandong was a coexistence of football school and professional club echelon. The unique system, mixture of nation-sponsored system and professional club system, played a positive role on football development of Shandong. But at the same time, there is also some problems and insufficiencies, mainly displays in the following several aspects:1. The level of juvenile football development among cities varied. The trend showed that eastern cities were higher while western cities lower. Cities like Qingdao, Yantai and Weifang developed well, while Zibo and Jinan were above the average level. But other cities were still in initial stage.2. The contradiction between education and training still remained. Football schools and professional clubs prefer football training rather than education. On the other hand, education system put the literacy class learning in the first place. Time for football training and competition is very limited.3. The elementary coaches, especially traditional sports coaches in schools, generally lack various sports experience and professional training. Coaches need to be further improved the overall level.4. The role of nation-sponsored system was relatively weak. The limited number and varied level of professional clubs made Luneng the only club training and conveying talent players. The population of talent young players has the trend of further shrinking. Double track system need to be further regulated and developed.Therefore, we suggest combine the advantages of nation-sponsored system and professional club system to establish "double track system" of juvenile football players training in Shandong province.1. Establish trial schools parallel with professional club echelon, achieve balanced development of "double track system" on basis of campus football directed by excellent coaches in sports system.2. Introduce juvenile player’s transfer system, standardize the training-system, clarify standard of training fee and transfer fee. Encourage various cities to participate in personnel training actively, and constantly expand the selection range.3. Integrate game resources in both sports and education system, establishing mixed competition system, offer more the opportunity for players and provide a good platform for overall development of the juvenile players.4.
