Under the background of new era, the primary and secondary schools in the poor and rural areas adopt a new employment policy called "Classification and assessment" and establish multiple incentive mechanism, which is the advance of Teachers’ employment system and multiple incentive mechanism and is significant in many respects, such as reforming the traditional system, building a qualified and stable team of teachers, arousing the teachers’ enthusiasm and improving teachers’ social status, treatment and improving education quality. This article is aimed at the professional evaluation and the employment systems of the primary and secondary schools in Lianyungang, based on access to information and questionnaire. However, it’s found that many teachers are dissatisfied with them. On the contrary, they feel that their status and treatment are lowering because of the inequality of the status of employers and employees. What’s more, the effects of the Engagement System have not been displayed and are far from satisfactory. I really hope that teachers can be fully respected and our necessary treatment and demands can be met. Based on the analysis of the main problems in the process, I make every effort to find out the reasons and put forward my opinion and provide some suggestions.
