Analysis Of Star Athlete Narrator With The Vision Of SWOT Theory

Except for lots of knowledge, speaking skills and broadcast skills, a sporting events narrator should have sporting experiences and professional knowledge. Star athletes to be narrators have unparalleled advantage, because they are familiar with the sport, their narrate give key points. They could give professional narrate and bring audience enthusiasm. As a result, star athletes to be narrators are chosen by each other between audience and themselves.Using SWOT theory, based on research of star athlete narrators’s video, analyzed systematically, we revealed internal advantage and disadvantage, external opportunity and threat of start athlete narrators. Through SWOT strategy matrix, explore the better way that star athlete narrates, to help them systematically fully analyze themselves, show their strengths, make up weakness, to help them more efficiently narrate. It’s also helpful for the model that star athletes narrate, help advance our nation’s sporting industry and media industry.Based on others’research, we introduced new theory and research method. Innovation is a relative term. Our innovation in this article, compared with other research on star athlete narrators, we used SWOT theory belongs to economics, which is really rare. It gives new research perspective and theory for analysis of star athlete narrator’s advantage and disadvantage.Through analysis of star narrator’s external environment (opportunity and threat) and internal resource (advantage and disadvantage), from various perspective, we analyzed star athlete narrator’s advantage and disadvantage.Conclusions are:Star athlete narrator’s internal advantage (S) factors are:sports professional knowledge; sports, events experience; human resource, emotional resonance, star-effect, sports man spirit. Star athlete narrator’s internal advantage (W) factors are:lack of multi-knowledge structure;poor communication; subjective position needed to be improved.Star athlete narrator’s external opportunities (O) are:welcomed by audience, variance events, TV-narrates innovation.Star athlete narrator’s external threats (T) are:rule change, new stars, change of political environment.
