The research of teachers verbal behavior increasingly attracted the attention ofthe education sector. Teachers’ verbal behavior has become an important indicator tojudge the level of teaching. With the deepening of specialization of teachers, as themajor force in the future development of the teachers career, student teachersprofessional development can not be ignored. So, how is the student teachers’ verbalbehavior now? What are the problems and reasons of student teachers’ verbalbehavior in the classroom? What is the development path of the student teachers’teaching verbal behavior? These problems will be the focus of this essay.This essay simply sorts through teachers’ verbal behavior in classroom firstlywith method of document research,then, through the methods of empirical studieslike on-site observation, questionnaires, tracking interviews and case analysis,theessay does a research on two groups of student teachers in Shanghai S school,aimingto reveal the characteristics presented by the student teachers in classroom verbalbehavior(including advantages and disadvantages), and as a basis for further analysisof the reasons for, and puts forward the development strategy of the student teacherteaching verbal behavior as a trainee teacher professional development of teachersin the future provide advice.The research found inadequacies of student teachers classroom teaching verbalbehavior:(1) teaching behavior formal;(2) questions acts arbitrarily oriented;(3)feedback behavior moderated;(4) regulation of behavior emptiness. From the levelof teachers and the student level, the essay analysis student teachers verbal behavior.Finally, the author, on the basis of related findings and in-depth thinking, putsforward the development strategies:(1) Focus on classroom communicationlanguage;(2) cultivate of classroom teaching languages;(3) develop teachers abilityto reflect;(4) build professional development mechanism.
