The reform and development of current and future of basic education,school autonomy will be further strengthened, the school is playing a more and moreimportant role. The school-based curriculum is an important content of schoolreform, has become an important topic in the research and development of theschool. The history of education to cultivate the students humanitiesaccomplishment, required for the students future life knowledge and great role. So,in the development of school-based curriculum to reflect the history education isvery important.The development of school-based curriculum should fully take into accountthe special schools and courses in three aspects of diversity and development needsof students under the requirements of history education, play the unique humanisticspirit, meet the students individual needs. History education in the new roundcurriculum reform should be paid more attention.The school-based curriculum in ethnic minority areas development historyand culture to promote the curriculum reform, has the important meaning topromote the development of education in ethnic regions. However, the currentminority region showed the theoretical foundation is weak, confusion, lack ofdiscipline curriculum goal orientation and the lack of cultural consciousness andinnovation and so on the development of school-based curriculum. And theseproblems are restricting the development of school-based curriculum in ethnicminority areas.So, according to the national minority area characteristic theory from theperspective of school-based curriculum development of national history and culture,combining the practice of school-based curriculum in Enshi Tujia AutonomousPrefecture region, the implementation of school-based curriculum development ofnational historical and cultural background, choice of curriculum contents, made acomprehensive exposition. On this basis, summary and reflection of national historyand culture school-based curriculum problems, and put forward some suggestions for improvement related. In the end, also made related to the study of nationalhistory and culture school-based curriculum may face in the future developmentprocess difficult, hope to further development of the school-based curriculum inminority areas can give substantial help and guidance, but also to the developmentof school-based curriculum teachers with more inspiration.
