Science experiments play a very important role in the process of science education. The experimental teaching is not only a manifestation of the essence of science education, but also a way to develop students’ scientific practical ability, scientific spirit, etc. Textbooks as the materializing stuff are really vital that it can convey the knowledge, socialize the individual and develop students’ ability. In this paper, there are two versions of science textbooks to be studied:one of them is<Science> published by the Press of Wuhan, China and edited by Liu Shengxiang and Cui Hong, the other one is<Science Focus Second Edition> published by the press of Pearson Education Australia.In this paper, combined with quantitative research and qualitative research, a comparative study of the two editions of the texts which summed up the difference between the two versions of textbooks had been concluded, By the differences of experimental content of the two editions of textbooks, it was found that all the textbooks pay special attention to the experiments of the scientific theory of knowledge. Qualitative analysis of experimental presentation of two editions of textbooks,<science> textbooks present the experiments by A variety of forms, and it attaches great importance to the experimental process of integrity, and it Put forward higher request in the Experimental operation and the theory of the experiments, and it is useful for students to learn the basic knowledge;the experiments in<Scientific Focus (Second Edition)> are close to life, while increasing the fun and practicality of the students during the experimental learning.Finally, on the base of the study, relative suggestions are given in this paper:we can absorb the essence of science textbooks in Australia, focusing on the penetration of safety education, and strengthen the contact with real life and the independent inquiry; at the same time, China’s science textbook revisions also need to strengthen the integration of disciplines. It should further integrate the disciplines core knowledge into the experiments.
