In our country,it is very important to cultivate the scientific literacy of primary school students.But from the current reality,the scientific knowledge literacy of primary school students is not high.This indicates that primary school students should not be educated by schools alone,and science popularization venues should enlighten students with physics knowledge in an appropriate manner to supplement and extend primary school education.Therefore,it is of great significance to cultivate pupils' scientific literacy in the popular science venues by using physics popular science experiments.This study is based on the cultivation of the scientific literacy of primary school students in the popular science venues,and combined with relevant studies,it puts forward the new concept-"physics popular science experiment" which is more suitable for the popular science venues and suitable for the pupils' characteristics,and designs the model of "physics popular science experiment".In order to provide front-line science educators with a new idea of scientific popularization,so that the future venue science activities can better cultivate the scientific literacy of primary school students.In order to make this study innovative,the author uses the literature method to understand the ideas and processes of the previous researches,consults pedagogical books to find theoretical basis;the comparative research method is used to analyze the similarities and differences between science education in primary schools and popular science activities in the science popularization venues in terms of objectives,ways of completion and organization,and the advantages of the science popularization venues are also explored.The interview method was used to understand the current situation of students' science education in primary schools in the city and their interests and hobbies in popular science activities in the venues,which laid a foundation for the later design of physics popular science experiments.Based on the physical and mental characteristics of primary school students,the international requirements for scientific literacy,combined with the characteristics of physics popular science experiments,seven basic principles for the experiments are proposed,and four physical popular science experiments with four themes are designed.The purpose is to enable students to master the correct scientific knowledge,correct the wrong pre-concept,link the scientific knowledge with their life,apply the scientific knowledge to the advanced science and technology and cultivate the students' exploration and innovation spirits.Three forms of activity organization are carried out to popularize science among primary school students and improve their scientific literacy in the physics popular science venues.The results of the effect analysis show that the popularization of science to students in the form of physics popular science experiments can help students master correct scientific knowledge,explain the phenomena in life with scientific knowledge,apply the scientific knowledge to their life,and have a strong interest in scientific researches.It can supplement and extend the science education in primary schools and improve the students' scientific literacy.
