Research On The Effectiveness Of The Work Of The Communist Youth League On The Formation Of Senior High School Students’Good Moral Characters

Through the research of the development of the Communist Youth League in East Middle school in ZhongShan city, this thesis studies the effectiveness of the Communist Youth League’s promotion to the senior high school students’ good virtue. To make a comprehensive analysis of the present development of the Communist Youth League in East Middle school in ZhongShan city, this research adopts various methods like: carrying out specific practice activities, collecting and analyzing related information, documentary method, interview method, questionnaire investigation method. By analyzing the data collected from the recycled questionnaire which is carefully designed on the basis of related activities’ information, this paper explores the regular pattern of the formation of students’ good virtue. The content of this research can be as follows:(1) The co-education of the Party and of the Communist Youth League can penetrate some positive moral consciousness to students through spreading good moral teachings. The Youth League and the Youth Party’s consciousness infiltration is a breakthrough for the moral education in school. Because many students have been educated by our Party from the primary school, the Youth League can take this advantage to fully penetrate some good sense of morality, which will effectively help students establish moral ideals as well as moral beliefs and the same time lays the foundation of developing good moral behavior in the future.(2) Theme activities in the team can cultivate students’good moral sentiments. Combining the major festivals and theme education day with domestic and international current events, we can seize every education opportunity and carry out all kinds of ceremony education and theme activities to stimulate students to have self-education and also develop good moral character. In this way, students are nurtured to cultivate good moral sentiments in the emotion level.(3) Voluntary service and charity activities can help students to develop a high-level moral character as well as behavior. By extending the representative service in more aspects to benefit disadvantaged groups, all the teachers and students, students can establish favorable personal qualities and behavior habits.(4) Some well-organized club activities can promote the all-around development of students’quality. Students can fully excavate their talents and have a good performance, since they can create and develop their own clubs actively. Through expanding the amounts of clubs according to the needs of students, the club activities are able to cover students’spare time completely, which provides a large platform for students to extend and consolidate their good virtue, eventually promoting students’comprehensive development.Briefly, the practice and research data indicate that the work of Communist Youth League in middle high school has a vital function to promote students’ good characters. According to the deep discipline of moral education:cognitions, affections, thoughts and behaviors, the work carried out by the Communist Youth League should be abided by the following rules:enlightening them with reason, emotionally moving, and bundle them with justice and perseverance, which will make the four vital factors cognitions, affections, thoughts and behaviors bring out the best in each other and effectively promote the formation of students’ good virtue and also the comprehensive and harmonious development of the moral education in senior high school.
