Charismatic leadership is a leadership style that the leaders, by one’s own behaviors, beliefs and personalities, exert profound and extensive influence on their subordinates’beliefs, values, behaviors and performances. It’s the one of the cutting-edge leadership theories as well as a research hotspot on leadership style. The study, through method of literature review and questionnaire, discusses the current situation of Chinese primary and middle school principals’ charismatic leadership, and based on it, researches the influence of their leadership on teachers’ organizational commitment.The research conclusions are as follows:First, generally speaking, most of the school principals’charismatic leaderships were marked with higher scores, but a few of them were ranked lower.Second, the principal charismatic leadership was significantly positively correlated to general teachers’ organizational commitment, of which the correlation among it and the teachers’ emotional commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitment reached significant positive level. Among them, the most closely related to teachers’ organizational commitment is the relationship charm.Third, through the regression analysis, we found that on the prediction of teachers’ organizational commitment, the principal charismatic leadership can be used to predict all dimensions of teachers’ organizational commitment, among which the relationship charm can predict the organizational commitment most effectively.Fourth, through the comparative analysis of teachers’ organizational commitment under the variant-scored principals’charismatic leadership, the data reveal that the higher the score of primary and middle school principals’charismatic leadership is, the better the teachers’ organizational commitment is.Finally, according to the research results, the paper advises the principals that they make efforts to improve personal characters, enhance the personal abilities, strengthen learning of knowledge, advance the long-term development of school, as well as care, trust and encourage teachers.
