Comic, using simple but bold approach to the interpretation of reality, is a way to express the situation of rapid changes and fierce expression of art and becomes important data of social and cultural changes. Since the reform and opening up, comics primarily reflect current events and politics, yet now comics are gradually changing from political tools to an art of creativity. And with the expansion of the content and form, comics will eventually evolve to reflect individual thought and become a purely emotional art. In this process, Mongolian comic also got its own development. This article is based on the works of a Mongolian cartoonist, Ba-Bilig studies the social and cultural changes from the perspective of Ethnology.This thesis consists of the following five components, introduction, body (three chapters), conclusions, references and appendix. Introduction outlines the reasons for topic selection, summary, purpose, meaning and method of study. In chapter I, we introduce the cartoonist Ba-Bilig and his works which are divided into three parts, such as ecological theme comics, Mongolian life comics and other theme comics. We mainly discuss how his works characterize the real world and great changes in social culture. In chapter II, characters of Mongolian comics and Mongolian attitudes towards the real world are expounded according to an interview of the cartoonist Ba·Bilig. Chapter Ⅲ addresses the realistic significance of Ba·Bilig comic works and research meaning of this thesis. Author summarized his arguments based on the content of the paper in the part of conclusions. The appendix consists of images related to this article.
