Our aim is to inspire students' interest in learning politics and improve the efficiency of moral education by studying the discussion method in politics teaching, which initially formed the application strategies. The reason why we do it is that the discussion method in politics teaching has great advantages, it can promote the development of the student's abilities. The studying of the discussion method in politics teaching is in order to push forward a reform in political education aggressively and demonstrate the magic of political education in high school.This paper is divided into five parts. Part one introduces the summary of the discussion method in politics teaching, including the concepts and the characteristics, the theoretical basis, main types and forms. Part two discusses the significance of the discussion method in politics teaching. Part three analyses the present situation and reasons of the discussion method in politics teaching. Part four studies the strategies of the discussion method in politics teaching, including the principles and general steps, the strategies of the subject classification. Part five discusses the reflection of the implementing condition of the discussion method in politics teaching, including the teacher and student.As the times progress and society advances, the ideological and political education method is developing. The author draws up a simple study and discussion to arouse more colleagues' concern. Carrying on the implement of the discussion method in politics teaching with high quality, sparing no effort to the nurture the next generation should be our general task.
