Pupils’ learning science, it is extremely important to experience the process of scienceand to get first-hand information, to explore the limitations of resources, the environment, etc.,most of the exploration activities only stay on the surface. The Internet of Things technologyhas a huge advantage in building the primary scientific inquiry environment aspects, the realenvironment to support students with information technology at a deeper level interaction andinteroperability of learning resources and explore space for teachers and students. But howeffective use of the Internet of Things technology to promote teaching, to provideenvironmental support to carry out exploration activities for students; elementary schoolscience inquiry activities of Things environment design, to guide students to take the initiativeto participate in the exploration activities in an urgent exploration.In this study, Wuxi Nan Feng Primary School, for example, try the elementary schoolscience inquiry activities the construct of Things environment design strategy, combined withspecific case of exploration and practice methods. Around the constructivist learning theoryemphasizes learning environment,"the creation of situations","collaborative dialogue","information" and "the construction of meaning", In this study, learn from and absorbinstructional design theory based on the elementary school science inquiry activities of Thingsenvironment the design strategy. Four elements of the target of exploration activities,environment, process, evaluation design. Stressed the inquiry activities should aim to be ableto reflect the generative and differences; construction of the Internet of Things environmentshould be the physical environment and explore platform implemented in two parts; processto explore the theme of exploration activities, problem solving, task driven three ways;knowledge should scientific inquiry three dimensions, ability, emotion and attitude toestablish evaluation and exploration activities.Finally, combine the eggs hatch experimental practice, the effectiveness of the designstrategy of exploration activities through quizzes observation, questionnaires, interviews and asurvey of the practice effect analysis. The results show that: the effective integration of theInternet of Things environment with elementary school science inquiry activities to break thelimitations of the traditional inquiry classroom to explore environment becomes moreintelligent and efficient; been increasing their awareness of students’ problems, the sense ofcollaboration; previous only do not do, just listen to the fixed activities compared to thestudents to observe, hands-on and data analysis to explore the ability to greatly improve;unexpected expression and writing skills of the students from the improved.
