As the application and development of Computer Assisted Instruction technology (CAI), and in order to effectively carry out teaching reform, enhance education for all-around development and improve students’ability, Computer Assisted Instruction system for the course Electricity Control Technology on Construction is developed. The current state of teaching mode and method for the course is analyzed in this paper. Disadvantages of traditional teaching method are discovered as unitary characteristic, boring theoretical curricula and less enthusiasm of students. In allusion to these problems, the design idea, implement way and main content to develop the CAI system are concentratively expatiated. The CAI system has a friendly interface designed with Delphi visible program software, taking test application, courseware and system management as the main frame. There are five stages including test data maintenance, exercises and courseware browse, user management and code modification. The class educated content brings out visualization and interaction, which is designed to be Hyper Text Mark-up Language linking to the courseware browser stage, using software of Dreamweaver, Flash and so on. Conditions for students’independent learning after classes with data base manner and exercise base management can be provided by interactive exercises base. The management of the system includes user management and code modification, realizing the permission mark off and logging in code modification to assure the normal management of the system. This CAI system can help you finish teaching tasks more effectively, and inspire students’enthusiasm. The educational innovation of the Electricity Control Technology on Construction course in the college can be deepened by the study achievements of this paper. Its theory also can be referred by other teachers for the educational research and innovation.
