Research And Management Of Enlightenment In The High Class Style Preppy Interpretation

Over the decades, research on positive psychology gradually increased. It is most concerned about a personality trait-optimistic. Many studies on different groups of people have shown that optimism and human mental health are closely related, and adolescent mental health has been a topic of concern in school.Explanatory style, explanation of the reason for events, as one of research directions on optimism is divided into three dimensions, internal and external, stable and unstable, global and specific. People’s habitual explanation of life events is called explanatory style. Lots of researchers are working on this direction.This study examines the quality of Prep school students’explanatory style when they first arrived in Beijing. It also explores the relations between students’ mental health and psychological adaptation. At last, it makes recommendations for the minority Prep school students’ optimistic quality. The results followed:1.At the beginning, we measured their explanatory style, mental health, psychological adaptation through three different questionnaires. The explanatory style and mental health are significantly correlate. The explanatory style and psychological adaptation are also significantly correlate.2.After one month, we measured their mental health and psychological adaptation. The initial explanatory style and mental health are significantly correlate. The initial explanatory style and psychological adaptation are also significantly correlate. 3.compared with the first data, the correlate score on mental health questionnaires is lower.The correlate score on psychological adaptation questionnaires is higher. This means the students’mental health and psychological adaptation are better. Girls’mental health and psychological adaptation are better than boys’. It tells that Girls’explanatory style more significant affects their mental health and psychological adaptation.Explanatory style questionnaire also can be used on Chinese Prep school students of Mainland Xinjiang high school classes. Prep school students’ explanatory style can affect their mental health and psychological adaptation. More optimistic, more healthy. As a result of, we can change the Prep school students’ positive explanatory style though group psychology tutorship, positive education.
