Students Of The Government To Promote The Role Of Entrepreneurship In

With the continuous reform of China’s education system and economic system, employment problem of college students has become the bottleneck of the economic development. In addition, the transfer of surplus labor force in the rural area, the laid-off workers in the state-owned enterprises as well as the unpredictable international environment have made the employment problem of college students face the more complicated background. From the point of view of government, the college students belong to the group with most superiority and potentiality and are therefore the high quality human resource and the main force to push forward the sustainable development of future economy. As the employment posts brought by the economic growth are much limited, it is better to start up the business actively rather than to wait for the employment passively and to drive the employment by the startup of business. Therefore, the increase of success rate of college students in the startup can not only promote social stability but also can create new posts in order to push forward the development of economy and enhance the national comprehensive competitive power and sustainable development power.The business startup is a system project. The successful realization of business startup should not only rely on a potential entrepreneurial team and a perfect entrepreneurial plan. The actual implementation of business startup also needs government’s great support and full service, the improvement of laws and regulations, the acceptance of the whole society to the business startup, the backup of financing sources, the prompt assistance when the startup is failed and the social security to the entrepreneur, etc, which all belong to government’s function. Although the government encourages college students to start up the business in every ways, the effect is not really obvious. The success rate of startup of college students in our country is only10%, far less than the advanced western countries. The phenomenon that thousands of college students take China’s national examination for admissions to the civil service further shows they are not confident to start up the business. As a result, the inaccuracy, absence and offside role position of our government in business startup of college students has led to the insufficient ability and low enthusiasm of college students in the startup.This paper carries on the research on the role of our government in the business startup of college students. It consists of four parts. The first part analyzes and outlines the relevant theories of business startup, startup of college students and the role of government. The second part introduces the deficiency of our government i.e. the government role absence and dislocation in promoting the business startup of college students and discusses the reasons on this basis. The third part analyzes the role of Japanese and US government in the promotion of business startup of college students and finds some experiences for our reference. The fourth part tells what kind of role that our government should play in the college students’ business startup.
