The spirit of Lei Feng, the reflection of the socialist core value system, is the important component ofChinese national spirits, which is eternal, dedicated to all mankind and precious spiritual wealth. Morepowerful moral force should be the inner motive force to ensure that Chinese nation stands firmly amongthe nations of the whole world. This year is the fiftieth anniversary to learn from Lei Feng, people havepaid more attention to the activity of learning from Lei Feng than ever before. Middle school students arenot only the constructors and the successors of our motherland in the future, but also the vigorous freshtroops to learn from Lei Feng. Their moral qualities will not only be related to their growth and becomingtalents, but have great connection with the construction of the socialist cause. Under the exam-orientededucation, some schools have the concept of putting more emphasis on the marks and enrolment rates,ignoring the cultivation of senior middle school students’ moral qualities, Lei Feng spirit included.Therefore, it’s a historical mission for schools to strengthen middle school students’ Lei Feng spiriteducation. At the same time, the situations of our ages call for Lei Feng spirit education to middle schoolstudents, train all-round talents, so as to better accelerate the construction of our harmonious society.With the development of our society and the changing of the times, new content will be added to LeiFeng spirit,and new problems will appear in the course of Lei Feng spirit education.On the basis of theinvestigation to middle school students’ Lei Feng spirit education, the passage summarizes some noticeableproblems: some schools haven’t laid enough attention to the education of Lei Feng spirit; the teachingmethods are single or out-dated; educators break away from the characteristics of middle school students’physical and psychological development; some teachers just consider it merely a formality to propagate LeiFeng spirit, leading to bad results; society still have strong impact on the Lei Feng spirit education;familieshave strong impact on the Lei Feng spirit education and middle school students themselves have the wrongattitude toward Lei Feng spirit education, thus having weak self-consciousness.It’s a long-term and systematic project to educate senior middle school students to learn from Lei Feng,so we need people of all walks to cooperate, and especially strengthen the organization and leadership ofschools as well. During the education, politics classes play the part of main channel, while activities like practice and service, the important battle field. At the same time, schools also have to optimize the campusenvironments practically, strengthen the communication with parents and society and lead middle schoolstudents to reasonable location recognition. Middle school students are also required to increase theirself-consciousness, and to take an active part in all kinds of activities to put Lei Feng spirit into practice.Form the measures above, we can strengthen the actual effects of middle school students’ Lei Feng Spiriteducation, gradually improve middle school students moral qualities and promote their healthy growth andfully development.
