With the advent of information era, knowledge innovation becomes the core elements of national competitiveness, the social has new requirements of quality of higher education. In2011, at the anniversary of Tsinghua university President Hu Jintao said that comprehensively improving the quality of higher education need vigorously strengthening scientific research ability of university, with a high level of scientific research to support high quality higher education. Integration of scientific research and teaching in higher education has become the inevitable trend of China’s higher education reform,also a good choice. In spite of this, in the reality of colleges and universities teaching and research still exist various contradictions and conflicts. The contradiction of teaching and scientific research, is always a problem which many scholars studied and discussed. Privileged agricultural university with the aim to develop research university, is in the transition stage of development, appeared the contradiction between teaching and research are in the process of school development stage contradictions, is faced with how to deal with the relationship between teaching and scientific research, how to promoting the fusion of teaching and scientific research and a series of problems.Therefore, investigation and countermeasures for integration of research and teaching of privileged agricultural university, not only provide solution of the problem at this stage for privileged agricultural university, at the same time provides some references for the development and transformation of privileged agricultural university.This study contains five parts:The fist part is an introduction. It contains the background, the purpose and the significance, the research methods and the review of this study.The second part is intrinsic characteristics and historical evolution of "integration of science and education". On one hand, through analyzing the connotation and characteristics of the teaching work and scientific research work in university, digging the essence of the compatibility between teaching and scientific research. On the other hand, combing the relationship between teaching and research from the historical angle, provide a reference for integration of research and teaching.The third part is present situation analysis of integration of research and teaching in privileged agricultural university. First, summarizing the situation of this study from the research hypothesis, investigation procedure and the sample. Then, analyzing the present situation of Huazhong agricultural university as an example, this part including:teachers’ cognition about teaching and scientific research work, the status of teachers’ teaching and scientific research work, teachers’ evaluation of the school system. Finally, finding the main problems on the current situation of integration of research and teaching privileged of agricultural university.The fourth part is the countermeasure and suggestion of integration of research and teaching in privileged agricultural university. On the basis of analyzing the second chapter and third chapter, putting forward relevant suggestions from four aspects, the macro environment of universities, school internal management system, the content of the teaching and scientific research, the subject of teaching and scientific research.The fifth part is conclusion. The main point of this study and give the briefly discusses and analyzes the innovation of this study, and also should be explored in the further.
