| University graduates are one of the main force of national economic development.Their working performance has a strong impact on Chinese economic and social development.Therefore,all the parties have gradually concerned the employment situation of the graduates.Due to the further popularization of higher education,the number of college graduates has continued to rise year by year,which generally increased the difficulty of graduate employment.At present,China is in the crucial time point of the 13 th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development of People's Republic of China(the 13 th Five-Year Plan).We are facing the new requirements of agricultural development,which results in new demands.There is a fact that more agricultural talents are required to join in the construction of agricultural modernization.Henan Province is famous as the major agricultural province.The amount of demand for university students majoring in agriculture are showing highly increase trend for making contribution for Chinese economic construction.However,the graduates majoring in agriculture and working in agricultural field have to suffer by some negative realistic problems.Such as,low wages,poor working environment,as well as poor professional reputation.Therefore,it is very important to discovery the agricultural graduates employment situation,the factors which affecting employment level,and the useful suggestions to promote the poor employment reality.All of these have very important significance not only for the graduates,also for Chinese state,enterprises and universities.There are seven chapters in this dissertation.By extensive readings of literature at home and abroad,three kinds of appropriate questionnaires are made based on the previous mature questionnaires,some special questions are also added.The first questionnaire is taken “graduates in nine agricultural majors in Henan Agricultural University with the graduating year of 2013 2014 and 2015 ”as the target;The second questionnaire is taken “the nine agricultural majors students who are in the last year of study in Henan Agricultural University” as the target;The third questionnaire is taken “143 enterprises which taken part in recruitment meeting in Henan Agricultural University of 2016” as the target;The purposes of this dissertation are firstly finding nine agricultural majors graduates' employment situation,2016 students' employment expectation and enterprises' recruitment expectation;In detail,(1)Overall working rate of agricultural graduates is higher than the average rate for other majors university graduates.;but graduates with rural background has a lower working rate than those coming from urban places.(2)Middle size cities are highly welcomed by agricultural major graduates.However,almost no graduated want to find a job in rural area.(3)The overall job satisfaction is in an upper level,but graduates are not satisfied with the "employment guidance" given by university.(4)Agricultural professional reputation should be improved,the students' professional identity and confidence needed to be strengthened.(5)The quality of agricultural major students in last three years improved continuously.Based on the conclusions,the factors that affect the employment are found from four aspects,they are society aspect,employers aspect,graduates aspect as well as graduates aspect.In the last,from the four aspects of country,society,university and graduates themselves to giving meaningful suggestions to promote the agricultural major graduates' working situation.For example,the government should optimize employment policy;Enterprises should strengthen the cooperation with university;University should pay more attention in innovation education;at the same time,the graduated need to update their employment value.Only in this way,a better employment situation of agricultural major students can be achieved. |
