Based On The Theory Of Information Architecture Education Website Optimization Design

With the development of information technology in education, digital learning is becoming more and more importance, information technology continues to change the learning of learners. Education theme websites as an important carrier of one of the learning resources are becoming more and more common, however, since most of the theme websites are a secondary development of the open source online system and architecture, they are lack of rationality. It leads to the difficulties of the acquisition and functional expansion about the sites. As a result, it is not only to bring some difficulties for managers, but for learners accessing to information. So websites are not convenient for users to acquire information.In this study, through documentary research and task test method to analyze the current some problems of education theme websites in information organization:lack of information organization reasonableness; ignore navigation overall; search function incomplete. For such problems, there are many website optimization methods. The author finds information architecture is good effect for the websites which are built or optimized through documentary research. So the author analyzes the application of information architecture to optimize websites:information organization, information navigation, information identification and information retrieval. Information architecture constructing website optimization can help users access to information conveniently, strengthen the association of information between systems as well as the site’s overall structure and improve the overall utilization of the website page space.Information architecture theory as a guide, selecting the "visual culture" website as optimization object, the author adopt the task of testing and survey methods to test the site for more comprehensive and more targeted to find the site’s problems. Through the users completing tasks and the analysis of the survey results, the author finds the serious problems of the case. The author applies the information architecture theory to integrate and redesign the site and analyzes the optimization result.
