A Study On The Optimization Of MOOC Websites Based On Information Architecture Theory

MOOCs as the large-scale open free courses have been accepted by more and more people,the number of courses on MOOC websites are booming either.How to make these resources more reasonable planning becomes more urgent.At present,the construction of MOOC websites at home and abroad have their own characteristics and there are many advantages,but there are also deficiencies.There is relatively little research on the construction of MOOC website information.How to optimize the construction of MOOC website to improve the user experience has become a research topic.The article investigates the current status of the MOOC website,analyzes the existing problems,proposes improvement measures based on the information construction theory,and hopes to achieve a better experience.The paper consists of six parts: Part I,Introduction.Outline the current state of MOOC website construction.Explain the research background,theory and practical significance,research content,research methods and innovation of this article.The second part gives a brief overview of information construction theory.It mainly includes the concept of information construction,development,and the goal of website information construction.The third part is the investigation of the status of construction of MOOC websites at home and abroad.The 12 MOOC websites at home and abroad were investigated from four aspects: the organization system,navigation system,logo system,and retrieval system.These included the analysis of the organizational structure of the website,the analysis of curriculum category settings,different types of navigation and functional features,and identification.The selection of title tags,course tags etc.in the system,search system retrieval request strategy design,search result display,etc.In the fourth part,based on the investigation in the third part,the status quo of the MOOC website construction are summarized,including the characteristics and existing problems in the construction of various websites,based on which to propose targeted construction suggestions.Thefifth part proposes the optimization strategy of MOOC websites information construction.Firstly,it proposes the principles that MOOC website construction should follow,secondly it points out the construction process,and finally gives the corresponding optimization plan.The sixth part summarizes the findings and deficiencies of the paper.Summing up the results of the study shows the limitations of the paper,and at the same time it proposes the direction of future in-depth research.
