Instructional Variety is not only a popular research focus in the effective teaching research field abroad, but also one of the main themes of the curriculum reform of elementary education and practice. With the curriculum reform carrying out forward, many educators have paid the attention to the instructional variety and have carried out relatively thorough researches on it. Besides, Lots of faculty members have done the positive explorations in this field and have accumulated valuable experience. However, in practice, it can be found that teachers’ knowledge concerning instructional variety is insufficient, lacking teaching consciousness of it. Because of that, this thesis, with class observation as the main approach, goes further to the class teaching practice, applying self-made "classes’ observation form on teachers’ instructional variety". The class introduction, presentation, questioning and evaluation are the four dimensions of the classes’ observation. This thesis analyzes the reality of teachers’ current instructional variety and existing problems, and purposes some suggestions on instructional variety in the hope of making some useful complements in this field and providing a reference and guidance for teachers to improve the quality of class teaching.
