| Volleyball is a kind of sport that suits both the old and young. It consists competition, entertainmentand fitness and have high value of exercising and fitness. From1905coming to China and raising the hotwave in1980s, volleyball have become a popular sport, loved by a lot of people. Volleyball in middleschool develops well, playing vital part in school physical exercise and competition. In this period, thedevelopment of volleyball in Zhoukou city ranks forefront in Henan province, but now it falls down. Inrecent years, this sport which suits all kinds of ages is not welcome to physical activities in Zhoukou city.From2006, the team which represents Zhoukou City and gets good grade of the latest Henan juvenilevolleyball game is coming from a middle school in Fugou County, Zhoukou City. So the development ofZhoukou Urban District is not to be sneezed at.There are not enough researchs about physical education class in middle school in Zhoukou andthere is not a research about volleyball yet. This essay which combines the characteristics of volleyball andThe standard of physical and fitness course researches the situation of volleyball promotion in Zhoukoucity with the background of comprehensive promotion of quality education and intensifying the reform ofphysical in school. Knowing the reasons, analyze the situation of promoting volleyball in Zhoukou City.Come up with the suggestions combining the reform situation in and out of the country. Provide data fordeveloping the volleyball in Zhoukou city and try my best to contribute to it.This issue uses ways of document, questionnaire survey, interview, logical analysis and statistics toresearch the situation of teacher, class, the attitude of leaders and management in school, field, equipment,the team out of class, and the hobbies of students and family causes.The result shows:1. It is reasonable in Teachers’ age and educational background, and settles a good foundation ofsports technique and theoretical teaching for Zhoukou city middle school sports development, but theproportion of volleyball teacher is low and there is a serious shortage. Most of the PE teachers in middleschool do not understand volleyball movement which directly affects the students’ learning anddevelopment of volleyball. 2. Volleyball class is not popular middle school, which directly influences the understanding andinterest of middle school students about volleyball. Middle school in Zhoukou Urban District does notcurrently own a set of physical education and sports knowledge quantitative evaluation index system. Thereare not enough teachers who plan PE class well and the teaching time is not enough. The skills for studentsto learn is limited to ready to posture and move, pass and dig. The learning effect is not very ideal, so theenthusiasm of student is not high. The leadership of the school pay attention to literacy class very much,ignoring the physical teaching.3. The physical teachers in the school do not understand The standard of physical and fitness coursewell. They can not change the new teaching ideas and teaching methods. The sports teaching form isobsolete, and there is no students around the learning, point. The methods can not suit students and explorethe subjective initiative of students.4. The foundation of volleyball venues quantity is relatively good which can solve the problem ofvolleyball venue, but volleyball equipments are not good enough which can’t satisfy the basic needs.5. The school which set up volleyball team accounted for half of Zhoukou city middle school, butsome are temporary teams, the development is unstable. The volleyball activities in and out of school is less,and the form is single, which is not conducive to raising the level of middle school volleyball teaching andmotivation of students to participate in volleyball.6. It lacks of volleyball matches in and out of school, and the publicity for volleyball is not enough.The knowledge which students can get to know in the school is limited. |
