Gratitude is a lofty personality trait.What it represent is human excellency and virtue to certain degree.Positive psychology vigorous development. The research of gratitude become popular when positivepsychology is thriving. Many domestic and foreign psychologist put gratitude research into the empiricalstudy at the end of the last century. For domestic psychologist began studing it in recent years, what welack be the powerful empirical study. In this study, we adopted questionnaire investigation method on eighthundred and six students in WeiHui No.9Junior High School.This article aims to investigate the gratitudeand level of elementary students school life satisfaction, how gratitude effect on school life satisfaction andalso try to explore the relationship between gratitude and elementary students school life satisfaction. Wetry to provide some reliably theoretical basis for the mental health education of junior middle schoolstudents. At the same time, we also hope to provide some references to the development of positivepsychology in the world.Method and object: In this study, we adopted questionnaire investigation method. We choosed eighthundred and six students in WeiHui No.9Junior Middle School.And make statistic processing by spss18.0.The statistical result is as follows:(1)During gender and grades of junior middle school students life satisfaction, their differences are sosignificant.(2)The junior middle school students of WeiHui No.9Middle SchoolExist lower gratitude. More students have higher gratitude,less students have lower gratitude.Significant difference exists in different grades.Students in Grade1and Grade3have more gratitude thanstudents in Grade2.(3)The students in different grades have different school life satisfaction. They have no obviousdifference in different genders. Students in Grade1have highest satisfaction, most positive emotion andlowest negative emotion. The satisfaction in life and postive emotion of the students in Grade3is lowest,and their negative emotion is highest.(4)Gratitude and school life satisfaction have significant relationship. The results appear therelationship of gratitude and school life satisfaction among elementary students is clear positive. It can increase gratitude when life satisfaction is growing.
