Today, after nearly ten-year basic education reforming, greatachievements had been made in the practice and research about newteaching methods of all subjects and class interaction. However, few peopleare interested in the innovation of teaching methods for the curriculum ofsenior three. Now, the teaching methods for senior three are mainlyteacher-centered teaching and exams tactics. New idea of curriculum criteria,as the spring breeze, failed to blow into classroom for senior three.Based on the new idea of curriculum criteria, practicing in the currentteaching of biology in senior three through referring to the application ofPBL teaching methods at home and abroad, this paper is trying to build ateaching mode of local PBL review in the light of the teaching situation ofcurriculum in senior three. Chapter one includes the background andmeaning of the paper, PBL teaching methods and the present situation、theresearch methods and the research line of review teaching. Chapter two isabout the conception of PBL and review lesson, and the theoretical basis ofreview lesson based on PBL teaching methods. Chapter three is mainlyabout the principal process of study, including the analysis of the resultthrough surveying and interviewing in teachers and students from threeschools;some details of teaching design in the application of PBL teachingmethods;the process and reflection of teaching and the analysis throughcomparing teaching effect of the experiment group and the opposite onebefore and after teaching;feedback from students after teaching. Chapterfour introduces the reflection of the research and practice, includingshortcomings of the research and right way of the continuing research.I got predictable research achievement after one-year researching and practicing,the teaching practices showed the application of PBL teachingmethods helped the experiment group obviously improve their biology studyand get better marks in examination questions than the opposite one’s, andthe teaching effect of the application of PBL teaching methods also wonapproval of teachers and students.
