With the rapid development of information technology, the amount ofinformation explosion today, people can get information more conveniently andrapidly than before. However, media cognitive problems come one after another, sothe media literacy is being paid more and more attention. For junior high schoolstudents are in the life period of major change, media literacy education is especiallyimportant. How to cultivate students media literacy, how to improve young people allkinds of media information interpretation and criticism and ability to use the mediainformation for the use of personal life, social development, improve the mediainformation selection, understanding, evaluation, creation and criticism, questioningability, has become an urgent the problem, the information age has the necessarymedia literacy of junior high school students.Media literacy education developed earlier in the foreign countries, but in ourcountry in recent years gradually began to study. At present, research in middleschool is less. There is lack of media literacy education curriculum system in theschool. As a teacher, it is necessary to take on the responsibility of the media literacyeducation and promote the student media literacy to improve. The informationtechnology subject has its own advantages, it contains rich resources of medialiteracy education, It is feasible to research on media literacy education implanted ininformation technology. At the same time, information technology subject can alsointegrate other subjects. This is conducive to the teenagers media literacy to improve,and promote the whole social media literacy to improve.This paper combined with relevant concepts of media literacy education,studied the current situation of domestic and foreign media literacy education,investigated the present situation of media literacy of junior middle school students,studied the teaching significance of media literacy education in junior high schoolinformation technology. According to the theory of semiotics, constructivism theory and other related theories, based on further study of domestic and foreign medialiteracy of literature, analysis and interpretation of " Shanghai primary and middleschool information technology curriculum standard ", combined with the newtechnology research requirements of the course, analyzed teaching material (DUOFEIversion), put forward the feasibility of integrated media literacy in the informationtechnology course, the basic strategies of media literacy education in the informationtechnology curriculum, and teased apart the relevant content of informationtechnology and media literacy education. According to the teaching strategies andteaching object, put forward the teaching model, carried out the teaching practice ingrade six of junior high school, and formed some relatively rich cases. This study alsoprovides some reference for other teachers to carry out similar practice.
