In recent years, Learning engagement has become one of the critical issues in manyauthors who were from home and abroad. Learning engagement is defined as studentswho were full of vigour and had the mental toughness in the process of learning, theycan realize the importance of learning, they can make efforts and face of the challengebrave in order to keep a state of positive, perfect and cognitive. There is significantcorrelation among Learning engagement, Proactive personality and Self-monitoring.Improve students’ Learning engagement is good for enhance the academic performanceof College students. This study used a questionnaire survey method and surveyinvestigation541students from College in Heilongjiang province to analyze Collegestudents’ Proactive personality, Self-monitoring influence on Learning engagement andthe relationship between them. The results are showed that:1. There were many individual differences among Proactive personality,Self-monitoring and Learning engagement.2. There was significant correlation among Learning engagement, Proactivepersonality and Self-monitoring.3. Proactive personality as independent variables, Self-monitoring as mediatingvariables, Learning engagement as dependent variables to build model, the indicatorsare up to standard.4. Inputs from the part of the intermediary role in the Proactive personality ofLearning engagement.5. Intermediary model structure weight of inter-group was consistent.
