Nowadays, it’s a information society, a wide variety penetration occurs in all media, eachof them play their own advantages and characteristics and had an important impacts on humanbeings in political, economic, social and cultural life. Sport, accompanied with thedevelopment of human society, has had gradually been established and developed as aspecialized research areas. It was carried out in order to enrich the social and cultural life of apurposeful, intelligent, organized social activities and an integral part of human culture.Sports as a special social and cultural phenomena with distinct characteristics, compared tothe literature, drama, music, film and other socio-cultural phenomenon, is more prominent. Ithas a strong appeal and was very easily to find an common topic. Currently, the combinationof media and sports provides audiences with exciting audio-visual event feast and a wealthsports information, increasing sports enthusiasts breed in the environment of diversity andease to obtain sport information, and those people gradually formed a group called athleticfans. The studies of Fans is the latest research field in mass communication, in the era ofnetwork media, the behavior patterns and psychological characteristics of athletic fanexperiencing a subtle development, and there has a benign interaction between thedevelopment of network media and athletic fan, those deserve our in-depth research.This article using literature information law to summary the existed research on "fans"and athletic fans" and the mutual relationship between audience and media at home andabroad, clearly the focus of this article is benign interaction between network media andathletic fan. Firstly, we analysis the forming factors and significantly features of athletic fans;then using the theory of relationship of media and audience and specific data, and cases,research has carried out on sports spread features of network media and the impacts onathletic fans taken by the features; we analysis and summed up the dialectical relationbetween the network media and the athletic fan; finally, some measures and recommendationswere proposed on improving of network media in sports spreading and on self-developmentof athletic fans. The research of this article provides guidance recommendations for lettingsports network media to serve sports enthusiasts better and has a great significance on thedevelopment of sport and sports network media of China...
