Cases Work Intervention Study On Salvation And Protection For The Street Children

Street children as children of disadvantaged groups has drawn more and more widely attention in recent years, aid protection work for street children has made breakthrough progress. After the SunZhi gang accident, aid protection work began to develop in the direction of human nature. Especially after social work imported aid protection work, social work highlights the people-oriented concept after aid protection imported. But, due to street children has the character of mobility and diversity,there are still defects exist in the process that social work practice as "imported goods" need to achieve Chinese localization, e.g. lack of prevention, Family involvement in difficulties and Tracking service does not reach the designated position. As social worker, we really need to think a question carefully:how to solve street children issue effectively in a proper way and how to help them to fit society successfully.Summary to the question, social worker start from the thought of issue found, issue discussion and issue solve, participate the first line social work of relief stations for street children. This paper chose the case work as the main means of intervention, follow the basic paradigm of ecosystem theory in the view of the theory and the superiority. Participates in observation method and interview method are the main ways to collect data and data collection are comprehensive. Those ways have been widely used in the inbound problem needs assessment, case assessment and evaluation of multiple links such as the settlement.On the basis of cases consolidation and evaluation, this study has obtained certain results. This paper believes that social work in involved in street children rescue has so many difficulties such as returning visit work is not easy, family intervention effect is not obvious, the social work profession did not play sufficiently and disabled homeless children’s help involvement did not draw much attention. Therefore, social worker came up with three kind of resolution to issue of street children family prevention, social work intervention and later social protection. For family intervention, important thing is to use school education and community supervision to eliminate the stray and repeat on the source. For social worker intervention, establish a long-term tracking service system to ensure the effectiveness of street children to return to. Later social protection includes improve social acceptance to street children and offer internship for appropriate aged children by co-worker with certain enterprises.
